Çağdaş bir üniversitenin toplumsal duyarlılık görevleri arasında; sanatsal faaliyetler
üretmek, sanatın gelişimine katkı sağlamak, sanatın ve sanatçının toplumla buluşmasını
gerçekleştirmek de yer almaktadır.
Ege Üniversitesi olarak; bilim ve teknoloji alanında yaptığımız çalışmaların yanı sıra, sanatın
toplumsal yaşam ve eğitim açısından önemini gözeterek, sanata ve kültürel faaliyetlere
büyük önem veriyoruz. Bu düşünceden hareketle üniversitemiz öncülüğünde düzenlenen;
çeşitli kurum, kuruluş ve kişilerin desteği ile hayat bulan “4. Uluslararası EgeArt Sanat
Günleri”, kentimizde sanat adına farklı bir atmosferin oluşmasına katkı sağlayacaktır.
4. Uluslararası EgeArt Sanat Günleri, İzmir’in 19 farklı noktasındaki kültür ve sanat
merkezinde gerçekleşecektir. Bu kapsamda, çok sayıda sanatsal etkinlikle çağdaş sanatlar
alanında belli ölçütleri dikkate alarak; başta genç sanatçılar olmak üzere, tüm sanatseverlerin
sanat belleğini zenginleşmesine katkı yapmayı umuyoruz.
Usta sanatçıları, genç sanatçı ve sanatseverlerle buluşturan“Genç Sanat Resim Yarışması’’nın
yanı sıra, bu yıl ilk defa düzenlenen“Kısa Film Yarışması’” ile genç yeteneklere destek olmayı
amaçlarken; diğer taraftan, kentimizin pek çok noktasında usta yönetmenlerimizin filmlerini
sanatseverlerin beğenisine sunuyoruz.
Ege Üniversitesi Kampüsü’nde yapılacak; dünyaca ünlü heykeltıraş Danimarkalı sanatçı
Nina Hole ve Ann Charlotte tarafından Türkiye’de ilk kez uygulanan bir teknikle hazırlanan
seramik heykel çalıştayı, Finlandiya’dan katılan Türk sanatçı Hasan Fuat Sarı’nın mermer
heykel çalıştayı ve Almanya’dan katılan sanatçı Ulrich Barnikel’in metal heykel çalıştayı ile
öğrencilerimizin bir sanat eserinin yaratılışına tanıklık etmelerini istedik.
Ege Üniversitesi olarak; geleneksel ve çağdaş sanatlardan oluşan birçok sanat türünü bir
arada sunup, Ege Bölgesi’nin ve ülkemizin kültürel yaşamına farklı bir renk getiren, İzmir’in
bu alanda daha fazla öne çıkmasına katkı sağlayan EgeArt’ı dördüncü kez hayata geçirmenin
gururunu yaşıyoruz.
Sanata çeşitli alanları ve zenginliği ile bakmayı amaçladığımız ve özellikle kaliteyi ön planda
tuttuğumuz “4. Uluslararası EgeArt Sanat Günleri”ne destek veren ve EgeArt’a ev sahipliği
yapmanın onurunu bizimle paylaşan tüm kurum, kuruluş ve kişilere teşekkürlerimi sunarım.
Social responsibilities of a contemporary university also include undertaking art
activities, promoting art and bringing together the community with art and artists.
Aware of the importance of the phenomenon of art in social life and education, Ege
University places great importance to many art and cultural activities in addition to its
endeavors in the field of science and technology. Consequently, the 4th EgeArt Art Days,
pioneered by our university and supported by various institutions, establishments
and individuals, shall contribute greatly to realization of a different and desired art
atmosphere in our city.
The 4th EgeArt Art Days shall be held at cultural and art centers located at 19 different
places in Izmir. In this context, we hope to set new art standards with a great number
of art events to enrich the artistic memory of all art lovers and especially the young
artists.
As well as “Young Artists Painting Competition”, which brings together master artists
and young artists with art lovers, we hope to uphold young talents with “the Short
Film Contest” to be held for the first time in EgeArt. On the other hand, we offer many
films by master directors to art lovers at many differe3nt parts of the city.
We wish our students to witness with their bare eyes the creation of a piece of art
with various workshops to be held on the Ege University Campus including the ceramic
sculpture workshop by world known Danish artists Nina Hole and Ann Charlott with
a technique to be used for the first time in Turkey; the marble sculpture workshop by
Hasan Fuat Sarı, a Turkish artist who come from Finland; and the metal sculpture
workshop by German artist Ulrich Barnikel.
As Ege University, we feel the pride and joy of realizing EgeArt, which has brought a
different quality to the cultural life of the Aegean as well as Turkey by blending many
traditional and contemporary art forms, and helped Izmir become a focal point in
world standards for the fourth time.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all institutions, establishments
and individuals who provided support and with whom we share the great pride of
hosting the 4th EgeArt Art Days, where we have tried to deal with art from different
perspectives and attached great importance to quality.
