1960 yılında Erzincan’da doğdu. İşlerinde kullandığı malzemelerin yönlendirici etkisi onu
“doku” odaklı araştırmalara itmiştir ve edindiği tecrübeyi “malzemeyle kurulan diyalogun
görselleştirilmesi”tanımıyla açıklamaktadır. Sanatçı, çalışmalarında seçtiği ahşap ve mermer
yüzeylerin yarattığı form değerlerini manipüle etmeden kullanmayı, izleyiciye sunulan
doğrular olarak nitelemektedir.
He was born in 1960 in Erzincan. The guiding effect of the material he uses in his work
directed him to texture-based research and he describes the experience he has acquired as the
visualization of the dialogue set up with the material. The artist believes that using the form
values created by wooden and marble surfaces he prefers without manipulation is the set of
rights laid before the audience.
