1972 yılında Erzurum’da doğdu. Gazi Üniversitesi Giyim End. ve Giyim San. Eğitimi
Bölümü’nde Lisans ve Yüksek Lisans öğrenimini tamamladı. Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Güzel
Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde Sanatta Yeterlik öğrenimine devam etmektedir. Beden ve giysi formu
başlıca uğraşı alanıdır. Dokusal etkiler ve üç boyutlu yapısal giysi formlarını kişisel tekniği ile
birleştirerek giyilebilir sanat formunda deneyimlemektedir.
Çalışmalarında, giyside dokusal etkileri ve üç boyutlu yapısal giysi formlarını, farklı kumaşlar
ve geri dönüşümlü malzemeler ile serbest dikiş tekniklerini kişisel tekniği ile birleştirerek
giyilebilir sanat formunda yansıtmaktadır.
She was born in Erzurum in 1972. The artist earned her BA and MA degrees at Gazi University
Clothing Industry and Clothing Arts Department. Currently, she is working toward Proficiency in
Art degree at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts. Her main focus is on body and cloth
form. She tries to specialize and gain experience in wearable art forms by combining her own
personal technique with textural effects and 3D structural cloth forms.
The artist reflects her works as “wearable art” through combining her personal technique with
the effects of fabrication; three dimensional structural costume forms; various fabrics and
recycled materials; and free sewing techniques.
