She was born in Izmir 1953 and graduated from Izmir Institute of Education Department
of Fine Arts in 1972. Having worked in several schools as an art teacher, she has been
working as the director of an art gallery in Izmir at present and continues her art
endeavors in her own studio. The artist creates her paintings by intensifying the abstract
effect of stain with structural elements through an abstract expressionist approach which
sometimes lead to figurative illusions. Besides her 31 solo exhibitions, she has participated
in many group exhibitions so far.
1953 yılında İzmir’de doğdu. İzmir Eğitim Enstitüsü Resim Bölümü’nden mezun olan
sanatçı resimlerini, lekenin soyut etkisini dokusal öğelerle yoğunlaştırıp yer yer figür
iluzyonlarına yol açan soyut dışavurumcu bir anlatımla oluşturmaktadır. 31 kişisel sergi
açan sanatçı çalışmalarını İzmir’de sürdürmektedir.
