1948 yılında Vakfıkebir’de doğdu. 1969 yılında Gazi Eğitim Resim Bölümü’nü bitirdi. Devlet
Sınavı’nı kazandı ve 1970-1974 Paris Ecole Superieure des Beaux-Arts’da uzmanlık eğitimi gördü.
Kişisel sergiler yanında birçok ortak etkinliğe katıldı. Devlet Resim, DYO Resim ve Hacettepe
Üniversitesi 2009 Sanatta Hizmet ödüllerini aldı. Gazi ve Hacettepe Üniversitelerinde çalıştı.
Beykent Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Dekanı’dır.
The artist was born in Vakfikebir in 1948. He finished Gazi School of Education Department
of Painting in 1969. Having passed the state exam and he continued his studies at Paris Ecole
Superieure des Beaux-Arts between 1970 and 1974. Apart from personal exhibitions, he has also
participated in many group exhibitions. He won various awards such as State Painting Award, DYO
Painting Award and Hacettepe University Service at Art Award in 2009. He taught at Gazi and
Hacettepe Universities. At present, he is the Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts at Beykent University.
